At first glance, the Aquasure AS-PR75A Premier Advanced Series Reverse Osmosis System looks like a good overall deal, with an acceptable price and solid filtration capabilities. However, it’s always important to dig beneath the surface and explore water filters in more detail – so let’s take a look at what this reverse osmosis system has to offer and what it might be missing!
The Aquasure AS-PR75A is an affordable reverse osmosis system with a 4-stage filtration process, as well as a few optional upgrades. The 4 default filter stages are:
The 4 filter stages combined effectively eliminate up to 99.99% of harmful contaminants, says Aquasure. We cannot really verify this, because there are no NSF certifications and apparently no testing against NSF standards (Aquasure doesn’t provide any specific contaminant reduction rates). However, the filtration process itself is similar to what most other RO systems apply and thus looks quite promising.
Filter life is 6 months to 2 years at about $85-170 in annual maintenance cost.
By the way, you can optionally upgrade your model with the following extras:
The Aquasure AS-PR75A is easy to install and set up, with color-coded tubing that streamlines the process.
You get a pressure protection valve, which can help mitigate pressure surges in your plumbing, as well as a leak detection shut off valve. The RO faucet is offered in two color variants – chrome and brushed nickel.
The system comes with a 1-year limited warranty, as well as a 2-year extended warranty for all Aquasure registered products.
More important pros are:
Aquasure lists a large number of contaminants supposedly addressed by the AS-PR75A Premier Advanced Series RO system. However, due to the lack of any official NSF certifications, it’s hard to verify the legitimacy of those claims. Nevertheless, here are some of the contaminants this product is claimed to address:

As mentioned before, the under-the-sink system is easy enough to DIY-install.
Here’s a brief rundown of the installation steps. Of course, make sure to check your manual for more detailed, step-by-step instructions.
You will need to remember to replace the different filters at the appropriate times. Those vary from one filter to another:
All in all, replacement filters will cost you around $85 – $170 a year. This isn’t exactly cheap compared to other similar products, but at least the company offers a subscription program that allows you to save 10%. The actual replacement process is very simple – just twist and turn to remove/install the cartridges, and you don’t even need to shut off the water supply.

There are no NSF certifications for this product.
We couldn’t find any earlier versions of the Aquasure AS-PR75A Premier Advanced Series.
Not a bad product on the surface, especially for this price, but it leaves a lot to be desired, especially in the way of detailed information. We have no contaminant reduction rates and no NSF certifications. The contradicting statements about filter life and wastewater ratio are also concerning. All in all, we’d give the Aquasure AS-PR75A Premier Advanced Series Reverse Osmosis System 3.5 out of 5 stars.
If you’re curious about RO system alternatives, we recommend looking into the Waterdrop G3 and the AquaTru.

The AquaTru is probably our favorite reverse osmosis system on the market overall – you can read the review here. It’s a countertop system, meaning that it requires practically no installation. It’s also gone through extensive testing and certification, with multiple NSF/ANSI standards – 42, 53, 58, 401, and P473. This means that the system is guaranteed to cover at least these contaminants, but also many others:
Here, the AquaTru is much better than the Aquasure.
What’s more, the AquaTru is very easy to use and takes up little space, while also filtering water fast and working very efficiently, with a wastewater ratio of just 20% (much better than the Aquasure) thanks to an internal pump. The device is made of BPA-free Tritan plastic too. However, some users report that it occasionally leaks or stops working prematurely, but those incidents seem to be rare. Initial purchase price is higher than that of the Aquasure, but the AquaTru is cheaper to maintain in the long run at around $100 – $120 per year.
The Waterdrop G3, on the other hand, is a tankless under sink system. This means that it filters water on demand and doesn’t store it for later access. Filtration happens over 4 stages, and the system is capable of removing:
*Based on NSF testing/certification to standards 42, 53, 58, and 401.
